You guys may not know this but my first love is reading (of course!!) but my second love is fitness and health! I absolute love working out and it is truly a hobby that I hope I never have to stop doing. At the beginning of the year my family and I do the Daniel’s Fast for 21 days to jump-start our spiritual connection with God along with jump-start a healthy beginning of the year. This book provides evidence of what food should be eaten to avoid premature death and disabilities. The book is also great because it provides a checklist of the 12 foods we should consume every day.
RUN STRONGER AND RACE FASTER BY TRAINING SLOWER: 80/20 RUNNING
AUTHOR: MATT FITZGERALD
This book is an awesome book for all you runners. The author discuss how to train smarter by following his 80/20 formula of doing 80 percent of your runs at a low intensity and 20 percent at a higher intensity. He also goes in detail about proper running form and how to avoid injuries. My mom is a former marathon runner and I plan to do multiple races this year so I know this book will be a great start for training.
THE FAT BURNING REVOLUTION: BOOST YOUR METABOLISM AND BURN FAT

This time last year you could not tell me that different fat burning pills from GNC didn’t work. However due to wanting my body to have a break, I stopped taking them and was pleasantly surprised that my natural metabolism didn’t need those pills to function and continue to burn fat when I worked out. This book helps with understanding how your metabolism works and provides excellent workout programs that don’t require gym equipment for great results.
